Edison Beautification

Project GoalOur goal is to beautify the campus and get the community involved and proud of our campus.

Landscaping: General 20 Yes
In the back of the office is a landscape area that is covered with dirt, gravel, vine plants and weeds. Teachers would like to utilize this area and have students come outside for additional space to engage students. Remove the plants, and weeds, and either lay sod or astroturf.
Painting: Mural 6 No
We would love a mural at front of the school facing the street. This would say, "Edison Elementary" and a picture of our mascot.
Other: Fence Decoration 15 Yes
Purchase and install "Put in Cups" on the chain link fence facing the street. It would say, Edison Eagles and a picture of our mascot.
Cleaning: Windows 10 Yes
Cleaning windows and window sills, backpack racks. Could be pressure washed and wiped.
Cleaning: Bathroom 4 No
Install bathroom mirrors.
Admin: Hospitality 5 No
Coordinate Volunteers, Registration, and Food Service.

Coordinate Media Plan to document Workday Project.
Painting: Exterior 15 Yes
The front entrance of our school has galvanized fence that has a prison look to it. I would love to paint the posts to a picture of a colored pencil creating a rainbow effect, and paint the front double doors to have a "Welcome to Edison" message.
